Countryside Engagement in Ohio // Nathan + Bailee
Nathan and Bailee both grew up on farms and have always had a love for the outdoors. So their countryside engagement was an absolute dream. Here in Ohio during the late seasons we get the longest sunsets. In other words it almost feels like time stands still. Talk about romantic.

They found me on Facebook and since we were only a town away we decided to meet for diner to meet. We went to this place that used to be here in Ohio called Jakes and had the best prime rib; talk about a perfect meeting! We chatted and hit it off right away.
Meeting your photographer doesn’t have to be stressful. In fact, I want you to feel comfortable, so if that looks like chatting over prime rib then let’s do it! I want to get to know you both in your element.
We decided to make it an adventure session and I had them show me all of their favorite spots. We explored a covered bridge, the rolling hills on his family’s farm and a back road bridge. Their puppers joined us on the trip too!
The best thing you can do during an adventure session is to go with the flow. For instance, they had a countryside engagement session when we would see a spot that caught our eye I would say “Let’s just jump out and have some fun here!”
She made the cutest sign for her puppers that said “I loved her first.” Talk about TO CUTE! His family’s farm was absolutely beautiful. I knew as soon as they mentioned it that it would allow for them to tell their love story in the most incredible way. They ran through the hills as the sunset and visited the cows. During the long sunset they danced and time stood still. It was a fairytale.
