This Downtown Chicago Summer Engagement has me dreaming of strolls through the park and adventures through the streets. The hustle and bustle of the city is magical.
It was a gorgeous summer day with endless blue skies stretching across Lake Michigan! I traveled to Chicago to document this stunning engagement. Amal lives in Chicago, so her heart is in the windy city. I was excited to adventure with these two in all of their favorite places.

We started at one of the many gorgeous parks along the water. With those breathtaking city views in the background it was a dream. They danced in the summer sun and told me all about Chicago. After spending time on the water we made our way to The Field Museum of Natural History. It’s one of the largest museums in the world. The long stretches of marble steps brought such a timeless feel to their photos. These two light up inside and out when they are with each other. You can feel the warmth and love radiating off them.
Nearby are gardens to stroll through with city sights for days. There is something for everyone in this Downtown Chicago Summer Engagement.
We ended the night at another lovely park right in the heart of the city. The sunset that summer night was astounding. I am so thankful for the opportunity to see the city through the eyes of these two love birds. Thank you for showing me your home!
