Rebecca gushed over email about when Jacob proposed. “He proposed in front of the Columbus Love sign downtown. We were on a date for our anniversary and he mentioned taking a photo there because "I know you're big on your photos!" he said and when we went to take our photo he got down on one knee and asked me!”
They got married at Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center in Columbus, Ohio. The long stretches of red brick roads and timeless Georgian style throughout the venue added to the intimate day. It’s truly one of the most romantic wedding venues in Columbus and Central Ohio.
Finding a venue that has gorgeous accommodations for getting ready is key. It allows you to create moments throughout the location and take time to be present in the moment.
They had one of the most touching first looks I’ve photographed. Standing back to back they read letters out loud to one another both with tear streaming down their cheeks. I had to hold back tears from behind the camera. The love between these two vibrates off of them. It’s so sweet and tender. It was a beautiful moment.
Intimate weddings don’t just have to be the two of you. You can celebrate with close family and friends during your special day and still stay in the moment during every moment.
They said “I do” outside in front of tall red bricks. Jacob tried to hold back tears as Rebecca made her way down the aisle. No one was able to keep the tears from coming all day. The reception was beautiful. They had little treats for dessert and shared dances with all of their loved ones. It was a priceless day and I am so honored to be a part of my couple’s sweet days.
