Estate at New Albany Wedding // Zach + Jessica
This wedding still has my heart! Zach + Jessica are such a fun, beautiful couple, and their entire wedding day was so well planned. From the details to the decor to the first look, every element of the day was perfect. Their Estate at New Albany wedding was such a fun day, and I can’t wait to share it!
The Estate at New Albany is a wedding venue made for photographers. The natural light in every room is incredible, which makes for the most amazing photos.
KEEP SCROLLING TO SEE BEAUTIFUL DETAILS, WHY YOU SHOULD DO A FIRST LOOK WITH YOUR BRIDESMAIDS, AND WHY THE ESTATE AT NEW ALBANY IS SO POPULAR!
The bridal suites were bomb! Not only was there a ton of space, there were also grand fireplaces that we used to style and shoot all of the details. The Estate is the coolest venue, and I absolutely loved shooting Zach + Jessica’s wedding there.
The Estate is a wedding venue just off the highway in New Albany, with over 5 acres of ponds, beautiful landscapes, outdoor spaces, and amazing food!
Jessica did a first look with the girls once she had her wedding dress on. It was such a sweet moment!
I always encourage brides to do a first look with their wedding party.
It’s so fun to see their reactions, and amps up the excitement - especially if you’re also doing a first look with your partner!
Zach + Jessica met during their undergrad at Ohio State University. They had multiple classes together, and Jessica said she had her eye on Zach the entire time. Little did she know he had his eye on her, too! After an entire year, they happened to sit next to each other in class, and Zach finally worked up the courage to strike up a conversation. That led to emails back and forth, which led to phone numbers being exchanged, then study dates, and then date dates. The rest is history!
Even though they’re not outwardly emotional, they wanted to do a first look before their wedding ceremony. And Zach’s reaction was SO sweet. He was just in awe of Jessica standing in front of him in her wedding dress.
I always, always recommend doing a first look with your partner! It not only gives you a chance to take some extra photos, but it gives you a few minutes alone together on an otherwise busy day.
They were in full celebration mode as their large gathering of guests got ready for the outdoor ceremony. It was a beautiful day, despite the forecast calling for rain, and the ceremony was absolutely beautiful. It was lighthearted but touching, and guests teared up while Zach + Jessica exchanged their vows.
After the ceremony, it was time for the reception (which was GORGEOUS!), cake, dancing, and a party!!!
I snuck Zach + Jessica outside for sunset portraits in a nearby green space, and we also took some great photos of them in front of The Estate.
Not sure you need sunset portraits on your wedding day? All you need is 10 minutes to sneak outside the get amazing photos!
After their sunset photos, we went back in to party the night away. They ended the evening with a sparkler exit, which, when done right, never gets old!
I’m so grateful that Zach + Jessica trusted us to be a part of their big day, and I am SO thrilled to share it with the world!
