Medina Ohio Engagement Photos

Adam + Mandy are a perfect example of young love. They met in grade school, and have been together for so long, but are still so so sweet together. They started dating in high school and are so close that they hardly needed any direction at all. Adam proposed to Mandy in front of a waterfall in Tennessee - talk about romantic! They’re such a cute couple, and this Medina Ohio engagement session was such a good time!

Keep scrolling to see why floaty dresses, sunsets on a farm, and cool props are must-haves for your engagement photos!

We’re covering both photo and video for their wedding next September.

We love doing photo and video together for weddings because it gives us such an intimate view into your wedding day - and they always end up being amazing!

I joined them while they toured their wedding venue White Birch Barn for their wedding next year. It’s so gorgeous and was so fun to get to hang with them while they checked out the venue.

I actually drove several hours to meet them for their engagement photos, because Adam had a vision in mind. I met them on a farm where Adam used to work when he was younger. He’s friends with the owners and they let us shoot on the property - and it was a blast. The property is huge and beautiful, and it was so special because it had meaning for them.

We walked through the fields, saw all of the cows, and hopped in a vintage truck. Adam + Mandy brought drinks, and we had a great time just being silly and taking photos all around the farm.

Photo props for your engagement shoot don’t have to be hand-held signs and hats. You can incorporate fun and meaningful props into your shoot, from blankets to your favorite drink - even an old truck!

They told me all about themselves, including that they love spending time outdoors and by the lake, shooting guns, and riding 4 wheelers. They also clean up nicely! They showed up for their shoot looking like supermodels.

Not sure what to wear for your engagement session? Being yourself is key, but wearing a floaty dress is a great way to dress up a bit and add movement to your photos!

Adam + Mandy were also so insanely goofy in the best way possible! They were so relaxed and ready to have fun, and it made for some killer photos. I had so much fun photographing them, and can’t wait for their wedding next year!
